First Congregational Church is firmly committed to an excellent children's ministry, not only because children are the church of the future, but because they are the church of today. Especially through Kid's Church on Sunday mornings during the school year and Vacation Bible School in the summer FCC seeks to teach children age appropriate biblical truth and show them the church is a fun, safe place to be.
For 2017 FCC's Christian Education Board decided to expand Kid's Church to the whole Worship hour on Sundays. Although we love having our children with us in the Worship Celebration, we recognize the importance of age-appropriate learning. Therefore, FCC provides boys and girls age four through grade five with a full hour of music, games, snacks, age appropriate Bible learning, and fun while their parents enjoy the Worship Celebration in the Sanctuary.
Vacation Bible School
Every summer FCC joins forces with our friends from First United Methodist Church and Light of Faith Fellowship for Vacation Bible School. This week-long event is an important part of our Children's Ministry and will be coming up again in July. Here are some video highlights from the last three years.
