HOMECOMING SUNDAY
First Congregational Church invites everyone to join us for Homecoming Sunday – THIS SUNDAY, September 27, 2026! This annual event begins with imported donuts and fresh ground coffee in the Social Hall at 9:00am, continues with our Worship Celebration at 10:00am, and then shifts to the pavilion at Trumble Park for our Annual Church Picnic about 11:15am. This is the perfect day to connect or reconnect with your church and have a great time with some great folks. It is also the perfect day to invite people you know who do not yet have a church family. Please note, this year’s Church Picnic will be a full-on potluck – the church will not purchase fried chicken, so we ask our members and friends to bring a dish and a dessert to share. Come join us for Homecoming Sunday!
ONE ITEM A MONTH
FCC’s One-Item-a-Month for September is HAMBURGER HELPER / TUNA HELPER. Please leave these items and any other non-perishable items at the back of the Sanctuary. They will be loaded up and
delivered to our friends at Loaves & Fishes for distribution to those in need. If you wish to donate cash, mark your contribution, “Loaves & Fishes” or drop them in the blue jug on the Literature Table.

WORSHIP VOLUNTEERS
FCC depends heavily on our volunteers to keep things running smoothly on Sunday mornings. We need liturgists, ushers, acolytes, and tech workers for every service. If you would like to serve in any of these areas, please sign up at the Literature Table located at the back of the Sanctuary. Thanks!
